Restored and brought up to standard by the Department of the Alpes-Maritimes, these buildings have taken on a new purpose, now dedicated to the promotion of culture by hosting temporary exhibitions. The cultural space enjoys a favoured setting, particularly due to its massive terrace overlooking the port, offering an exceptional view. It is part of the highly attractive district of the Port, the Place Garibaldi which has recently been restored and the Place de l'Ile de Beauté, notable for the consistency of its historic facades.
