A perched village typical of the hinterland of Nice, it stretches along a ridge, which offers vertiginous vistas, and has preserved part of its Mediaeval architectural heritage. The South-facing slope is covered with olive trees growing on agricultural terraces. Every summer, Bonson organises its Olive Festival and Le Festival du Peu, an event dedicated to contemporary art.
